The Alaska Mission Trip: The Flight Out

We have arrived! The flights were barely filled with turbulence and we never had delays or cancellations. The views of Seattle's mountains were gorgeous, and with all the time we had on the flights Lori was able to learn a little bit of cribbage! We got into Nome and proceeded to walk off the plane using a staircase onto the runway, and from there found our bags and made it to Covenant Church. James greeted us with a nice welcome, a story about Alaskan berries and a nice view of town. Dinner was a buffet of vegetables and meat. As we thought about the list of things to come we thanked God for his protection and answered prayers.
