The Alaska Mission Trip: The Third Day (on which he returned, not the Alaska Team)
" Self knowledge is not a guarantee of happiness, but it is on the side of happiness and can supply the courage to fight for it."
Jan in devotion talked about rest, which is something not that often felt in a busy week of maintenance and repair, but should be searched for. As much as work is an essential part of serving, one must have the strength and motivation to face the up and coming day, both mentally and physically. By seeing the sovereign hand of God and it's presence in what happens, even if not everything is completed, we know it is a part of his plan. So work while you can, but rest just as God rested on the 7th day.

At the end of it all Conner and Ethan had brought to the church (not by choice) some ecstatic and overly energetic 6th grade girls. They would hopefully be put to work the next day.
Other than what was previously mentioned, an Air Force cargo plane "buzzed us" in Lori's words, circled back and flew off into the nonexistent sunset because we're in Alaska, as well as a Cribbage tournament with all the Missions team and Avril who was mentioned in an earlier post, with Conner winning the whole tournament, James coming in Second, Avril in third, and Ethan in fourth.Jan in devotion talked about rest, which is something not that often felt in a busy week of maintenance and repair, but should be searched for.
